A few more of Adam in Hong Kong, before and after the wedding. The first day was very hot (first pic) but then it got cold. Between hikes in the mountains and trips in the busy center, or just in the kitchen home where everything was at perfect height to be grabbed, Adam had a very great time. Beside Tonton Benoit et Tata Ally, he also saw his papi and mami for a couple of days who gave him a fantastic light stick and his cousins Stephanie & Xavier who were very nice and patient with his pacing of the apartment up and down.

Quelques photos supplémentaires de Hong Kong, avant et après le mariage. Le premier jour fut très chaud (première photo) mais après ce n’etait plus chaud du tout… C’était super, la rando en sac à dos dans les montagnes, les voyages en poussette dans le centre, ou même la cuisine ou tous les ustensiles étaient à sa hauteur. En plus de Tonton Benoit et Tata Ally, il a aussi vu son papi et sa mami quelques jours, ainsi que ses cousins Stephanie & Xavier qui étaient très gentils et patients avec cette petite boule d’énergie déambulant dans l’appartement.

With short notice we flew off to Hong Kong for tonton Benoit and tata Ally’s wedding!! Adam passed his long-haul flight test like a star! Snacks and walking in the plane CAN actually keep you busy for 12 hours… Hong Kong was like last time just great and the wedding fantastic! See you in Australia next time A&B

Nous nous sommes rendus à Hong Kong à la dernière minute pour le mariage de Tonton Benoit et Tata Ally! Adam a passé l’exam de vols long-courrier haut la main. Snacks et des aller et retours dans l’avion l’ont accupé pendant la majorité des 12 heures Hong Kong était comme il y a 3 ans pour papa et maman,  super et le mariage fantastic

Summer is long gone now, and autumn is here with great colors and leaves to explore everywhere. A few weekends ago we had beautiful trip in the park. Enjoy!

L’été est révolue depuis longtemps maintenant, et l’automne est là avec beaucoup de couleurs  et des feuilles à explorer partout. Il y a quelques week-ends, nous avons fait un joli tour au parc.

Adam has a new cousin! Mathias was born on August 2 making Thomas & Amandine a couple of happy new parents. Congratulations!! We went to see the new family member, and to say hello to the cows, and the garden, the bath, the tractors and all the other great things on Tonton Thomas, Mami and Papi’s farm. Fantastic, but too short, time!!

Adam a un nouveau cousin! Mathias est né le 2 Aout, Thomas et Amandine devenant du même coup parents. Felecitations!! Nous sommes donc allés voir le nouveau membre de la famille, et nous en avons profiter  pour dire bonjour aux vaches, aux petits veaux, visiter le jardin, les tracteurs et beaucoup d’autres choses à la ferme de Papi, Mami et Tonton. Super mais vraiment trop court….

After a few weeks of testing and making adjustments – today Adam stood up and walked! And then he walked, and walked…  After that – the rest of the day was spent walking This is great fun – for Adam – and for us!

Apres quelques semaines de tests, aujourd’hui Adam s’est levé et a marché! Et puis il a marché. marché, marché… et le reste de la journée il a continué. Super pour Adam et pour nous

This year we were a bit puzzled about where to go on holiday, but finally settled for Norway, where we would finally be able to visit Allan, who has been there for 3 years, our Madeira Friends Madeira, Linda & Carlos and see a bit of mountains – as a change to flat Denmark.
So off we went, after a few days in the South, where Adam had a new birthday party at Allan’s, we stopped a day in Oslo and then headed for the northen fjords, in a cottage lost in the mountains. Ahhhh, it was so beautiful, and even the rain could not ruin such a nice vacation.

Cette année on s’est longtemps demandé ou aller en vacances, et finalement, nous sommes partis en Norvege. Nous pouvions visiter Allan qui y habite depuis 3 ans, nos anciens amis de Madere, Linda & Carlos et voir des montagnes pour changer.
Après quelques jours dans le Sud, ou nous avons celebré son anniversaire à nouveau avec Allan et une journée à Oslo, nous nous sommes envolés vers les fjords du nord, et avons adoré notre chalet perdu dans les montanes. Ahhh, c’était si beau, même la pluie n’a pas pu nous faire regretter un instant d’avoir choisi cet endroit.

As we were going to be in Norway away from all our family for Adam’s birthday, we held the family party a few days before. We had the whole Danish family around, including little Alfred, who was checking out how to have those kinds of first birthday parties, as he will have to throw one himself in a few weeks.

Adam had lovely presents, was very interested by the candle thing, even though he as not to sure what to do about it, and enjoyed having everyone around.

Comme nous devions être en Norvge pour l’anniversaire d’Adam, loin de toute la famille, nous avons fêté l’anniversaire quelques jours en avance. La famille danoise était au complet, y compris le petit Alfred qui venait voir comment organiser une fête de premier anniversaire, puisque ce sera son tour dans quelques semaines.
Adam a eu de beaux cadeaux, était très interessé par la bougie, même s’il se demaandait un peu quoi faire avec, et a beaucoup aimé avoir tout le monde réuni.

WOW! A bouncy horse!!

It’s been very hot here for the last week – and it’s SO nice!! So off we went to the beach with Aunty Kamilla and Uncle Robert and a cousin of Robert. It was Adams first time but since water and sand are his two favourite things we weren’t really two worried about the success We didn’t expect him to be THAT crazt about it though Super super nice and fun day!!

Ca fait une semaine qu’il fait très chaud ici – et c’est tellement bien! Nous sommes donc allés à la plage avec Tata Kamilla et Tonton Robert et un de leur cousin. C’était la première fois à la plage pour Adam, mais comme le sable et l’eau sont deux de ces activités favorites, nous ne nous faisions pas trop de souci… Mais on ne s’attendait pas à ce qu’il s’y plaise autant

It’s midsummer time! The sun and the evening light is amazing right now – makes it all worth to be in Scandinavia for a while. We went to the fires at Kasper’s favourite spot in DK with Jakob, Frederikke, Jonathan and Aunty Kamilla and Uncle Robert. Amazingly beautiful evening – thank you dear friends!!

C’est l’été! Le soleil et la lumière du soir sont fantastiques en ce moment! C’est le meilleur moment de l’année en Scndinavie. Pour la Saint Jean, nous sommes tous allés à l’endroit préféré de Kasper au Danemark with Jakob, Frederikke, Jonathan, tata Kamilla et tonton Robert. Magnifique soirée. Merci chers amis.

Two weeks ago it was time for the early elderflower harvest – and production of concentrate for the winter – mmmhh! Adam invited his good friend Jonathan along and we had a fantastic day in the garden of Farmor and Farfar and the fields around.

Il y a 2 semaines, nous sommes allés cueillir notre recolte de fleurs de sureau afin d’assurer notre stock de sirop pour l’hiver. Adam a invité son bon copain Jonathan (et ses parents Jakob et Frederikke) nous avons passé une trés bonne journée dans le jardin des grands-parents et dans les champs autour.
